July - August we have Demo Table at the Ohio State Fair - We have over 1500 pin kits for the make it and take it! WOW way to go! Dolls For Charity-This project is done by all members. Every member must make one doll for charity every year. Those that can not work on the dolls will donate $10.00 gift of cash donation to a charity of there choice. This year we are making them as a group. We have one pattern which was Designed for our group project. March meeting we will be making Charity Dolls. Please bring your sewing machines, fabric and everyone should bring at least one bag of stuffing. August 2012 River City Doll Club Every year we make it a point to share a day with our sister City Doll club. One year we meet in Columbus and the next we meet in Cincinnati. They are coming to Columbus in September of 2012 Dec. 2-4 Winter Fair 2011 - Ohio State Fair Grounds, We have been invited back to promote Art Dolls and to participate in the Make it take it. Stop by and see us, the project is fun and best of all FREE Christmas Doll Exchange: Christmas we do a doll exchange. You can sign up for the name exchange or you can just bring a doll and exchange a doll by drawing at the party on December, 2011. We added a " 6 inch Doll Ornament" exchange this year, do one or do both! The "Ain't Fittin" rule applies. Don't expect one unless yours is finished and ready for exchange.
