We moved the retreat from Feb. to Fall - Guilda almost froze
last year! 2008 the largest Snow Storm ever - Guilda almost was buried, but thankfully one of the Lilies saved her in the nick of time. This is the last snow storm we are facing the retreat has been moved to October.....Ahhh the Ohio hills in the fall colors will be beautiful and no more snow....Although the hills were amazingly beautiful wrapped in a blanket of snow and ice. |

What's in the cabin?. The cabin has coffee maker, pots, pans, dishes a complete kitchen. Beds are made with sheets and blankets and the cabin is warm but I like to be HOT so I always bring an extra blanket. I also like my own pillow but pillows are on all the beds. |

Next retreat October 14 - 16, 2011 We have a pot luck on Friday night and our member and chef Miss Vicki fixes dinner for Saturday night. Basic Breakfast foods are provided, Tea, Coffee, Milk and Fresh Fruits. Bring lunches and snacks
Please do not forget your cloths! In addition bring, Bathing Suit and extra Towel for hot tub. Dish for the pot luck on Friday night, What ever you are drinking - pop, beer, wine or water, snacks, Hat for dinner on Saturday night (Vicki requires us to wear them). Breakfast additions if you want cereal or other morning foods. Things you might want to bring: Books, VCR tapes, extra projects and or things you want to share.

Come prepared for the Class
We are going to be making the Christmas Bulb Boy but you need to start thinking about the second project you want to create. Pictures of other people or creatures you would like to create. Start looking through books and magazines. They are full of figurines of animals, people and creatures. Check out books and the web site. Find your inspiration bring pictures to inspire your work. The Christmas Bulb Boy is an exercise everyone will be making before you unleash your muse.
For goodness sakes cut your fingernails. |
