July 30 - August 3rd we have Demo Table at the Ohio State Fair - Free Entree Tickets for volunteers Challenge - 2008 Challenge is Monsters In other words create a monster that you would be proud of! Project due at Septembers meeting 2008 round robin "Doll Pass AROUND ROUND ROBIN" The club members that want to participate in the Round Robin need to start signing up at the next meeting. April 18, 19, & 20, 200 - Cyndy Sieving -Face and Body building classes: Information to follow soon. As always if you book and pay for a class no refunds are given. We will try our best to find someone to pay you and take your place. June 2008 Inez Brasch and Lisa Vottero are in charge of the High Road Gallery Show Dolls Due in June October 3,4 & 5, 2008- Jean Bernard will be coming into teach us for 3 days. Purse clutch and 2 day class of free form! Dolls For Charity-This project is done by all members. Every member must make one doll for charity every year. Those that can not work on the dolls will donate $10.00 gift of cash donation to a charity of there choice. Anyone that wishes to bring there doll into the September meeting either Vicki or Cyndy will be happy to take them to the Children Service admission center. September 27, 2008 River City Doll Club Every year we make it a point to share a day with our sister City Doll club. One year we meet in Columbus and the next we meet in Cincinnati. They are coming up to Columbus in 2008 Rivercity Challenge doll. When we visited Rivercity Doll Club Sept 2007 we were taught how to make a very special wire frame. The club told us that they wanted to see our finished projects in the fall of 2008. Christmas Doll Exchange: Christmas we do a doll exchange. You can sign up for the name exchange or you can just bring a doll and exchange a doll by drawing at the party on December 7, 2007. This way if your not sure you will have time to get a doll done you do not have to be committed - Either way the "Ain't Fittin" rule applies. Don't expect one unless yours is finished and ready for exchange. Doll Club Display At AFIC April 30- May 4, 2008 Make sure you pick out a doll for AFIC Doll Club Display.
