Students who have mastered
sewing by machine and hand sewing are eligible. The student should be ready for
complex techniques that will enhance their work and add to their knowledge. Hand
sewing is definitely a must in both workshops.
Machine sewing is secondary and used as only as a method to speed up the
process in combination with your hand sewing.
The focal point of the workshop is the creative process and the
techniques used to achieve the desired results. See the individual requirements for each workshop for more
detailed information.

We have chosen 4 different types of
products and fiber art related trunk shows, to help you add to your never-ending
collection of “Stuff”. It will
be an evening of shopping, fun and sharing.
Wendy Bethel is a doll maker that is
obsessed with beads. Her unique
relationship with fiber arts and beading makes her the perfect person to elect
as our beading vendor. Wendy has a
broad knowledge of what kinds of beads work best in different situations.
She will delight you with her beads and dazzle you with her wisdom.
Sally has an awesome collection of
fibers and yarns. What is more
fantastic she knows what and how you like to buy your products. Sally breaks
down the skeins of yarns into smaller units so that you can buy a larger variety
for less money. The imported fibers
She sells are great for trims, hair or to use as embellishments.
Her collection will have you in fiber heaven.
Jesse Chandler presents some of her
finest artwork. Several of her Dolls have been featured on covers of Soft Dolls
and Animals magazine and she has won numerous awards for her artwork.
Her own line of patterns will be available.
As a special treat Jesse also will also have available some of the hard
to find products that she loves to use.
Cyndy
will delight you with an unusual variety of many little special things!
Yes that is right. Items you must have to go with your fiber art pieces.
Her collection has grown over the years.
Cyndy’s has a strange need to buy two of everything, and only use one.
For the first time ever she is going to offer some of her unique
collection in this trunk show. Cyndy’s
patterns will also be available, along with some special artworks for show and
sale.
A
$100.00 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your classroom seat.
The balance is due 3 weeks prior the Symposium.
If payment is not received 3 weeks prior to event your seat will be then
available to a student on the waiting list.

You will be receive a
notification within two weeks. If
you do not hear from your instructor within 2 weeks, please email, call or write
one of us right away.
Jesse or Cyndy will send you a letter
with your supply lists for the workshop.
Unfortunately, none of us can see
into the future. Cancellations do
happen. The $100.00 deposit is non-refundable.
If you cancel and have paid the complete fee or any monies over $100.00
this will be refunded to you up until March 1, 2004.
Any cancellations after March 1st 2004, we will require a
replacement student for your seat in the workshop before we can refund any
balance.
There is a $30.00 return check fee
charged for any checks that are returned. No
post-dated checks will be accepted.
Kit fees are paid directly to the

In both classes sewing machines are
not required but strongly encouraged due to the possible design changes. Please know
how to work your sewing machine. Make
sure it is in good working order before class starts.

Everyone is responsible for his or her own hotel reservations and room
fees, but this may help you to cut your expenses.
If we have more than 10 students we
will hold the classes in the hotel. However if there are less than 10 we will
hold the workshops in a near by location. We
will provide a shuttle to and from the Hotel in this event, to the workshop
destination so transportation will not be a problem.

instructions on how to reach the hotel.
The hotel will accept packages for
this event.
