The Christmas party Christmas doll exchanges

THE AIN'T FITTEN RULE!  If you do not make a doll you do not get a doll. The doll must be completed.

TWO WAYS TO PLAY:

1.  Draw a name and create a doll for a person.  The names were drawn months back and our members have been busy working on a very special doll for a very special member.

2. The other exchange is for those that just never know if they can commit. We have all had years like this and it is good to have this option.  Make a doll and draw numbers to see who gets who's doll.  This is a great option for a member if your having one of those years!

Doll or no doll if your a member come to the Christmas party everyone is welcome, no wanted at the party!

Special Field Trips

Oh we love to shop!  Finding those special items we can not live without.  June 2006 we took a trip to Waynesville and met with the Waynesville, Ohio Doll Group for lunch.  We could hardly stop talking long enough to eat!

River City Doll Club & the Guilded Lilies

We try and meet up with the Cincinnati group every fall.  We are only an 1- 1/2 away from each other.  Their group is so talented.  Sharing is half the fun of doll making

Linda Apple is hard at work!

Guilded Lilies are very active at Artistic Figures in Cloth and always have a booth.

We Love Hats we wear them ever chance we get

Library dolls started in 2000 and we ran exhibits across the city year round until 2005. Columbus, Ohio has many Library branches throughout the city and love to have them full of interesting subjects such as DOLLS.  We formed a committee and every year would have new dolls to put in the display cases the exhibits would travel from library to library.  We would put information about our club, trying to find the stray doll maker that need friends like us!
