The Fishwife - Patti LaValley
Fishwife is a mixed media class. Who could resist this adorable fish?
The fish has a full body armature. Patti will teach you how to
use special painting techniques so that a luminescence appearance will
enhance your fish.
The techniques taught in this class are paper clay over cloth,
constructing and needle sculpting a doll.
You will learn to construct a four piece body.
Instructions will include how to wire and articulate hands. With
Patti’s guidance you will learn to needle sculpt. Other features of
the class include paint the face and doll features.
The Fishwife would not be complete without the costuming and the
boat. Depending
on the class dynamic’s there may not be time to finish the boat, but
students will receive a set of instructions to finish it.
There is a lot to cover and a boat load of information to learn. |
