Put your mind to work and come up with a clever piece of art work that stands or is posed without the aid of a traditional doll stand. Don't miss entering and don't miss seeing the 2011 Challenge

Doll Club Exhibit and Information
The Club Exhibit has rules. Everyone wants
to be involved and some people do not want to follow the rules. Everyone
is special; their work is special and no one else knows how handle their
art work. To keep
order, and more important, your dolls do not come up missing the
rules must be followed. If
you fill out your doll clubs name on page 21, we will send you detailed
information kit, and we will care for your dolls as if they were our
own. Here are some of the general information. 1. For
a faster doll check-in, have pre-made tent cards.
We will also have them available and will make them for you when
you check in. The tent cards are for display, so please write neatly.
Samples will be provided in your info pack to copy. The tent card
should be pinned on the back of the doll with a straight pin. 2. There
also will be a sign made out by AFIC on the table identifying the Doll
club, City and State with the dolls. 3. You
can bring flyers to put on the table about your club.
4. Two
people will be allowed to check the club dolls in.
You will need to fill from your information packet or when you
arrive we will give you one to fill out. 5. The
check out sheets will be stapled to a “Your Check out Card”.
Every single doll is checked off the list as you pack the dolls
up or walk them out the door.. You
and your partner will sign for these dolls being released..
6. This
year one doll per doll member. This
display is growing and so is the display for the students. Your rules are to keep
your work safe. I would hope that you respect our rules as much as we
respect your work. This
exhibit takes us better than one and half days to check in and set up
only takes 30 to 45 minutes to tear down. We take precautions to only
have a limited amount of people in the exhibit room at any one time.
Yet we go as fast as humanly possible, so that everyone can get
in and out as fast. |
