Ethnic Face Painting - Patti LaValley
|
If
you have ever painted on dark fabric you know how hard it is to bring the
features to life.
Patti will teach you the little tricks of the trade that you need
to know to be successful.
Students will learn techniques for creating a folk-style ethnic
doll using acrylic paints, applied to cotton fabric in a manner that
results in a multi dimensional beautiful ethnic face. Although
this class will feature the face painting, it will also cover a unique
technique for making opposing thumbs that are not sewn on separately.
If time allows you will also sculpt toes and of course learn the
costuming and wig making. Patti
expects you not only to finish the doll in class but to make the little
doll the Doll is holding. |
