Students will pre sew and stuff body parts prior to class.
In class you will learn how to pose the body by attaching the head,
arms and legs. They will learn to pose the hands.
They will learn how to apply skin color to areas needed. You will
learn how to make clothing and hat by manipulating fabrics. I call it
Fran’s Fashion Costuming Illusions on The Doll; Manipulating Fabrics of
Various Textures. This is fun
and amazing. Students can
bring a sewing machine if they don’t want to hand sew clothing.
Students will learn how to mix and match fabrics to create a
doll’s outfit. Learning how
to mix various fabrics together is amazing and lots of fun. Fran will
teach you how to draw the outline of face features using a mechanical
pencil and then color in the face features using colored pencils, colored
pens and chalk pastels. You
will receive hand out face drawing and painting charts to in class. Other
features in this class are how to turn a tassel into doll hair, how to use
buttons, ribbons, etc to embellish their doll.
As an extra bonus learn Fran’s Easy Shoe Making Techniques:
Shoes made with ribbon & soft leather for the shoe soles.
This is a fun and easy way to make shoes for any doll. |
