Bone Bird - Susan Barmore
If you would like to put a little fun into your doll making you need to spend a day with Susan Barmore. You will construct the basic body, prime it and bring it to class and be ready to go. The class will entail covering the cloth head with paper clay, adding beads in for the eyes and then painting the head. You will make the wand and wire mesh wings. Susan will help you construct the skirt and blouse using fabric felt and glue. Finish off the 14” high Bone Bird by embellishing, adding small details such as feathers and beads. 1
