Adora Belle

by Natalie Hamade

Are you ready to take the next step in face drawing?  If you want to push your limits and advance in face painting this may be the class for you.  Cyndy personally asked Natalie to take the face to another color.  Push the envelope so the emphasis is on the technique, not the color preference. Do you see your gal in shades of blue? Perhaps orange-- or whatever you decide is totally up to you, so open your mind and expand your horizons.  Natalie has designed 3 different head shapes for this class, so that’s actually three dolls in one! Adora Belle is a bust which can be displayed on a shelf, table, etc.   You will have a complete project when you are done and you will also have something else, the skill to draw any face in any shade.  Come prepared to learn how to paint faces like you have never painted before.  Natalie’s unique style mixed with the intense layering and use of watercolor/colored pencils, pigma ink and pastels will add dimension to your face painting skills.  These painting techniques will give the face depth along with individual character. Working with all these mixtures of faces painting techniques you would think this class is all about the face but Natalie will also be teaching you creative uses for Tyvek, organza, stamps and rhinestones. Learn how to make lavished embellishments to adorn the bust of the doll. You will also get to try your hand at painting fabrics and trims with acrylics and alcohol inks. Included in this class are 3 different head templates.
